FLEET MAINTENANCE SYMPOSIUM 2007
WHEN: September 18-19, 2007
WHERE: Virginia Beach Convention Center
THEME: “Operations Focused Maintenance”
The FMS-07 Steering Committee has been working hard since January 2006 to ensure that this event is a resounding success, by any measure…
- Contribution … to the Fleet Maintenance community, providing a forum for sharing IDEAS which enable the Navy to meet its operational commitments more effectively
- Opportunity … for members to gain exposure to their ideas through technical papers, symposium presentations, and networking with key industry and government leaders
- Financial Success … did you know that we rely on revenue from FMS to sustain the good work of the Tidewater Section for FOUR YEARS? More than ANY other factor, FMS proceeds allow us to offer scholarships, mentoring, dinner programs at cost, and other events that help us support our members and fulfill our mission. We also contribute 70% of excess revenue to ASNE headquarters to help sustain the health of the Society.
How Can YOUR ORGANIZATION Help Make FMS-07 Successful?
- CONTRIBUTE TECHNICAL PAPERS. Call for Papers information can be found at the FMS 07 web site listed below. Abstract submission is first, followed by technical paper submittal, publication, and presentation at the symposium if selected.
Abstracts are due December 29, 2006.

- BE A SPONSOR. There are many ways that your company can advertise and be a player through sponsorship, including new and innovative ways afforded by the state-of-the-art Virginia Beach Convention Center.
