The Membership Committee has made it a goal to have every member recruit at least two new members in the 2006-2007 fiscal year. If you can recruit two new member in 2006-7, you can receive CAPT Rick Hepburn, PE, USN (Ret.)'s book History of American Naval Dry Docks; if you recruit five new members you will receive both Rick's book and ASNE’s Naval Engineering & American Seapower, Second Edition; if you are able to recruit ten new members then both of the above books and the Marine Casualty Response: Salvage Engineering book will be yours free of charge.

Looking to join a committee or panel and work on special projects? Take a look at the listing of T&R committees and panels and see if you would like to join. Click here for an organizational chart of the entire T&R Program. ASNE members are encouraged to join these committees and panels to help out in your specific area of expertise as part of our Joint Strategic Alliance between our two organizations. There is a Joint Meeting of SNAME-ASNE Ship Design Committee & NSRP PD&MT Panel on15 Nov 2006 in the Tysons/West Bethesda area. Many of the other groups meet regularly as well.
