MegaRust Naval Corrosion Conference

The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), along with the ASNE Tidewater Section are proud to announce that this year’s MegaRust Naval Corrosion Conference, being held on June 20-22, 2017 at the Newport News Marriott at City Center. MegaRust is one of the nation’s largest and most popular corrosion conferences, and this year’s theme, “Delivering for Success” will focus on bringing together the nation’s top experts in the field including all segments of the naval services including sea, air, Marine Corps, vehicles, and facilities.
MegaRust is conducted annually and provides a consolidated focus on naval corrosion issues which is a major factor in the readiness and total ownership cost of naval systems. MegaRust 2017 will provide updated information on programs, policies, standards and Fleet experience related to corrosion, and will focus on sharing information, technologies and strategies for mitigating corrosion and finding solutions.
We expect to have over 500 attendees at this year’s event, including significant participation from naval commands and government agencies located in the Hampton Roads, Washington D.C., and San Diego metro areas, as well as throughout the country. Over 60 industry vendors will be participating in this year’s exhibit hall highlighting their latest advancements and newest technologies in corrosion control and mitigation.
