ASNE Flagship members CDR Rich Celotto, USN (Ret.) and Dr. Chunlei Liang represented the Society well taking home the District of Columbia Council of Engineering and Architectural Societies (DCCEAS) Engineer of the Year and Young Engineer of theYear awards respectively!
CDR Celotto, a Webb and MIT graduate, has over 30 years of experience as a naval engineer both active duty and as a civilian engineer. Rich is a dedicated ASNE member having served in various leadership roles for the Flagship and San Diego Sections and as a National Council Member.
Dr. Liang, an alum of Xi'an Jiaotong University and the University of London, is an assistant professor in the Departments of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics at George Washington University. He has published over 25 journal papers with emphasis in computational fluids.
CDR Celotto and Dr. Liang, congratulations on your well deserved honors!
