Last night ASNE hosted a VIP reception at the Hyatt in Crystal City with potential exhibitors and sponsors for our newly branded annual event Technology, Systems & Ships (TSS) 2017! The picturesque backdrop of Reagan National Airport provided a lovely spot to mingle and share ideas about how to make TSS 2017 our most successful annual event yet. As the Senior Manager for Programs, this will be my second year assisting our Symposium Chair, CAPT Rick White, USN (Ret.), and our exceptionally active committee, pull off a dynamic and successful event. We unveiled the new name as well as the revised exhibit hall map, which will be one of the main highlights of TSS 2017. We have reorganized the booth layout to accommodate premium spaces which will be in the main foyer, outside of the general session as well as surrounding the registration area. If your company is interested in exhibiting or sponsoring a function at TSS 2017, reserve online before October 31st and use appeal code TSS17-VIP for $250 off of ALL published TSS exhibit and sponsorship rates.

HQ Update

You may have noticed we have been diligently working to modernize the look and feel of your interactions with ASNE Headquarters. From a refreshed website, to a vibrant social media presence, to virtual professional development opportunities, to on-site badge printing with lead retrieval for ease of networking, we are updating all around. The latest update is a transition to a VOIP phone system. What this means for our members is that each staff member now has a direct line. Looking to renew your membership? Reach membership manager Michelle Redmon directly at 202-780-1433. Want to register for an event? Kathleen Kiamos at 202-780-1433 can help you out. Have an idea for a new course? Contact Erica Smedley Cox at 202-770-0182. All staff phone numbers and e-mail addresses can be found on our website. The main number, 703-836-6727 will continue to reach HQ at large though will be transitioned to the VOIP service on Friday, October 7. If you do have any issues reaching HQ on Friday during the transition, please call an employee's direct line.
