The 2006 Electric Machines Symposium's theme is "Integrated System Approach of the All Electric Force". The symposium will focus on four technical areas of the All Electric Force: Energy/Power Technology, Electric Machinery Technology, Power Conversion & Control Technology, and Thermal Management Technology. The symposium will include keynote speakers, panel discussions and presentation of more than 40 technical papers. The symposium will be unclassified. It is anticipated that NSWCCD SSES may conduct a tour and briefing in conjunction with the symposium and that one later session may be classified. Topics to be addressed include:
