ASNE is accepting proposals for papers and presentations on the following topics for Medium Voltage AC, High Frequency AC, and Medium Voltage DC architectures:

Submission of Proposals:
Please submit proposals through ASNE’s Manuscript Central site at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/nej by 2 July 2008. Submissions must include:

Name and address of all authors;

Organization, address, phone/fax numbers, email;

Proposed title of paper;

Unclassified two-page proposal in MS Word or PDF format. The text should include a problem statement
or introduction, an outline of the key points to be made in the paper, and conclusions or recommendations.
Manuscript Central Instructions:
You must register as a user on ASNE’s Manuscript Central website (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/nej). You will be asked for your name and e-mail address and be prompted to choose a password. You must enter at least three keywords that describe your area(s) of expertise. After creating your account, login and click on Author Center. Select “Click here to submit a new manuscript.”
Manuscript Central Tips:
Step 1: For Manuscript Type, select “Symposium: Technical Paper.” Enter “EMTS” in the Running Head field. Paste your abstract into the Abstract field.
Step 2: Enter three keywords that relate to your proposal.
Step 3: Enter information about additional authors.
Step 4. Not required.
Step 5: Cover letter is not required. Enter the number of Figures, Tables and Words in your proposal.
Step 6: Upload your proposal.
Step 7: Review and submit.
Important Dates:
2 July 2008 – Proposals for technical papers or presentations are due
11 July 2008 – Notification of acceptance
1 August 2008 – Final papers or presentations are due
