“This is an amazing opportunity for industry and government to work together to achieve the great goal of energy security. For the United States Navy, greater energy security will improve our combat capability. As we move toward increased efficiency, reliable alternative energy sources, and greater resiliency with the grid, we will be assuring mobility, expanding our tactical reach, and greening the Navy footprint.  Through partnerships with industry, we can develop as yet unforeseen paths to achieve energy security. These enhance our national security.”
