"Innovating Naval Ship Operation"

Welcome

ASNE Delaware Valley Chapter is excited to host the eighth Intelligent Ships Symposium (ISS VIII).  ISS VIII will be held at Drexel University's Bossone Research Center from Wednesday, May 20 to Thursday, May 21, 2009.

The ASNE ISS is a biennial event which provides a forum for the military, government, academia, and industry to come together to discuss technology initiatives that provide solutions to current and future needs of the Navy.  The focus of this symposium is machinery automation, control systems technologies, and tools for both Ship acquisition and modernization.  The symposium will feature papers from industry, academia, and government personnel that cover a broad spectrum of topics.  In the exhibit hall will be displayed some of the latest technologies and concepts being created by industry, academia, and government personnel. Presentations will include speeches from top Navy leadership who have helped create and formulate the vision for the current U.S. Navy and beyond.

Please check the website often as it will be updated to reflect the most up-to-date information on the symposium.
