Tom Morgan Bio:

Tom Morgan is a Senior Program Manager at the Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) Activity. Tom has leveraged his education and experience in Marine Engineering, maintenance planning, execution, and supply chain management, to lead teaming efforts for the development of solutions to Navy supply chain readiness issues. Most recently, Tom led a team, consisting of government and contractors, to develop a new maintenance material forecasting solution, iForecast, while coordinating various competencies to discover and realize additional benefits of this systems approach to Navy Maritime Maintenance.

Tom grew up in western New Hampshire and now lives in southern Maine with his wife Kristie and their two daughters; Natalie and Hannah. Tom and Kristie spend their downtime “bagging” peaks in northern New England with the ultimate goal of reaching the summit of all sixty-seven 4000+ footers in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

Dr. Claypoole Biography:

Dr. Victoria L. Claypoole is a Research Associate III with Design Interactive, Inc. With previous experience at the Air Force Research Lab and her current work with the United States Navy, Dr. Claypoole’s research interest lies at the intersection of increasing warfighter readiness and advancing scientific knowledge. Her previous work has examined how individual differences and social cues can improve attention and enhance enemy threat detection. Currently, her work is centered on leveraging emerging technology to develop next-generation training and operational support for the warfighter. Dr. Claypoole has earned numerous professional awards, including the University of Florida’s 40 under 40, the University of Central Florida’s 30 under 30, and several Best Paper awards are various conferences. She received a Ph.D. in Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology and a Master’s in Modeling and Simulation from the University of Central Florida.
