Weatherby Marine Solutions Madison Sears, Quinalan Kost, Chandler Sullivan, Jonah Junkman Our vessel is a 295’ Natural Disaster Response Vessel (NDRV) with landing craft capabilities. The vessel is intended to beach on disaster stricken islands in the Caribbean Sea and deliver critical equipment immediately after the natural disaster. The vessel’s roll on, roll off causeway system facilitated by a stern and bow ramp will ensure efficient loading and unloading of equipment. The vessel is also equipped to support an emergency operations base camp through potable water and fuel lines.

Scub-a-Doo Designs (S.A.D.D.) John Ahrendt, Garrett Bond, Cole Pankau, Andrew Ruiz S.A.D.D. 's members have first-hand experience regarding first response on the water and have thus seen the sizable amount of time that it takes to get divers on site and in the water once someone has gone under. In many cases, by the time the divers have retrieved the victim and begun rendering aid, it is unfortunately much too late. In order to cut down on this delay, S.A.D.D. is designing a high-speed vessel that will fully accommodate a dive team and all of their associated equipment. The vessel is being designed with the sole purpose in mind of reducing the amount of drowning related casualties on inland lakes and waterways.

Ship-to-Shore Connector Greg Rubin, Abdulmannan Mohammed A heavy lift, small landing craft capable of delivering cargo, fuel and water to the beach. With a lightship weight of less than 10 tons the SSC is launchable with any 10 ship crane, and is stackable to allow multiple vessels to be stored in a limited deck area.

Defense Design Team Abby Blink, Alex Dwyer, Ryan Williams Together we are designing a new class of United States Coast Guard patrol boats. The new Medusa Class patrol boats will be designed to stop and deter drug smugglers but also have the capabilities to assist in search and rescue. Our design incorporates new innovative features that enhance already proven designs.

United Marine Services Denise Williams, Dylan Schmidt, Uditha Adihetti, Olantun Sowole Hybrid LNG Bunkering Vessel to provide LNG to Vessels along the Gulf Coast. The goal is to provide a safe environmentally friendly economical offshore (out-harbor) LNG bunkering facility to any LNG-powered vessels such as Ships, ferries, OSVs, tugboats, and so on. The proposed route is from the LNG loading port of the port of Fourchon, LA to the port of Galveston, TX.

Electric Gator Iliana Paul Electric Gator is a renewable energy company that is designing a hydrokinetic turbine to harness 30 kW of tidal stream energy from the gulf stream. This turbine would supply energy to Gulf Coast communities in a more environmentally friendly manner than its fossil fuel counterparts. It is a 3 Bladed turbine with a direct-drive driven permanent magnet synchronous generator meant to supply energy directly into the grid.
