ASNE Executive Director
The American Society of Naval Engineers is looking for an innovative Executive Director who can grow the Society. ASNE and its individual members of engineers and others have for 126 years supported naval and other military forces as well as civilian maritime organizations by advancing and promoting the exchange of technical knowledge in the community. The Executive Director manages a staff of 9-12 and a budget of $3M+ in support of objectives determined and set forth by ASNE’s elected Council. Senior management experience and technical knowledge is required. An engineering degree is highly desired. In lieu of an engineering degree, a degree in mathematics or hard science is acceptable. Knowledge of the military program management, military protocol or research and development within the U.S. Navy, or U.S. Coast Guard is highly desirable. Familiarity with industries that design and build naval afloat platforms, and those that design, build and install hardware and software systems, is desirable.

ASNE Continuing Education Manager
The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) seeks an experienced and dynamic Continuing Education Manager to lead the development, implementation and sustained growth of a robust continuing education capability for the Society. The incumbent will play a key role in development, resourcing and implementation of continuing education capabilities and programs to serve the continuous learning needs of ASNE members and others in the naval engineering profession. This position is intended to establish continuing education as a core capability consistent with the Society’s strategic goals and to enhance the program’s credibility through compliance with appropriate standards for accreditation.
