The Anil Raj Excellence in Engineering Innovation Award came about as a result of a generous bequest from Mr. Anil Raj, President & CEO of Technology Associates Inc.  

TAI Engineers, LLC (TAI) is an internationally respected Maritime Solutions firm specializing in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.  TAI built a superb reputation for innovation and technical excellence while playing a key role in design and engineering for more than half of the ships built by the U.S. Navy for over 50 years.

The Anil Raj Excellence in Engineering Innovation Award recipient shall have made noteworthy contributions to advancing the field of engineering by clearly demonstrating:

• Sustained innovative contributions to improving technical excellence, engineering solutions or superior management expertise.
• The nomination should cite specific evidence of the nominee’s professional leadership and should include an assessment of the innovative contributions, designs or creative solutions to the field of naval architecture and marine engineering.

• Specific evidence of the innovative engineering contributions, technical excellence, or noted superior innovative management expertise should be submitted to the award selection committee.
