Mission Engineering is an emergent discipline in which system-of-systems engineering tools and practices are used to understand, model, analyze, architect, design and manage complex missions as end-to-end mission threads, across the entire doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities and policy (DOTMLPFP) spectrum. Navy initiatives in Integration and Interoperability strive to deliver combat capabilities that are efficient, effective and affordable.

The Mission Engineering and Analysis and Integration and Interoperability Conference is a two-day forum for the discussion of current Department of Navy and Department of Defense initiatives to apply Mission Engineering principles to a variety of Surface Warfare initiatives to enable combat capabilities that are integrated and interoperable.

This unique two-day event is being held in partnership between the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division and the American Society of Naval Engineers.  The first day will be unclassified at the University of Mary Washington, Dahlgren Campus and the second day will be classified at the Aegis BMD Facility, Dahlgren, VA.  Please note, registration for the event does not guarantee access to the second day.  Visit authorization requests must be submitted for the 2nd day.
