24 July 2020
AMTS is going VIRTUAL, October 6-7, 2020!
Due to COVID-19 mandated social gathering meeting restrictions, ASNE is transitioning the originally scheduled live face-to-face AMTS 2020 into a Virtual Symposium, until we can get together again in 2022.

ASNE and the AMTS Symposium Planning Committee are creating an engaging Virtual Symposium to include industry speakers, panels, technical paper presentations with Q&A sessions. Technical paper presenters please see ASNE's Virtual Symposia Resources for details on how to email your materials to publications@navalengineers.org.

11 March 2020
After closely monitoring the current developments with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), ASNE has decided to postpone the Advanced Machinery Technology Symposium (AMTS) that was originally scheduled to be held on April 1-2 in Philadelphia. Out of an abundance of caution and concern for everyone's safety and military/industry implementing travel restrictions, we were left with no choice other than to postpone AMTS. The new dates for AMTS are June 4-5, 2020.

All attendee registrations, sponsorships and table tops will be transferred to the new dates, June 4-5. Email ASNE-Events@navalengineers.org with any questions, feedback or special accommodations.

Please note that this decision was not made lightly, but we look forward to bringing everyone together in June. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

9 March 2020
Advance Machinery Technology Symposium (AMTS) 1-2 April 2020 is scheduled to proceed as planned with safety as a top priority for all members and attendees. The American Society of Naval Engineers is monitoring and is in contact with federal, state and local authorities with respect to the health and safety concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). We follow and encourage the use of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations for prevention: https://www.cdc.gov.

Via this webpage, we will post all updates. Please continue to follow the AMTS website for the latest news.
