Combat Systems Symposium 2017: Positioning the Combat Systems Engineering Team for our Navy’s Future

ABSTRACTS DEADLINE CLOSED


The 2017 ASNE Combat Systems Symposium (CSS) provides the naval engineering community, and specifically, the combat systems engineering community with expert panels, technical presentations, networking opportunities to keep abreast of the Navy’s progress and remaining challenges in developing more capable and more affordable combat systems for Navy ships.

The 2017 CSS Committee is seeking technical papers leading to twenty minute presentations during the Symposium on any topics related to Combat Systems Engineering as follows, but not limited to:

  • New Trends in Systems Engineering;
  • Fleet Tactics, Talent, Tools and Training (T4);
  • Engineering Combat System Speed to Capability while Strengthening the Team;
  • Distributed Lethality and the Fleet Tactical Grid;
  • The Digital Revolution
  • Big Data Analytics applied to Combat Systems
  • Combat Systems Design Improvements
Submit a brief proposal [submission closed]. The submission form will ask for:
  • Proposed Title
  • Author (s)’ name (s)
  • Primary Point of Contact e-mail address
  • A 1-2 page description which includes a problem statement or introduction, an outline of the key points to be made in the paper, and conclusions or recommendations that the paper will address. (Please note, the abstract submission tool is plain text only.)
