The Navy Afloat Maintenance Training Strategy program will soon add multimedia learning to its on-the-job teaching approach through job performance aids (JPAs), which augment technical manuals used for repairs when work is being done. These JPAs have been used in the NAVSEA maintenance community and will bring high-velocity learning benefits to the NAMTS program.

The Material Readiness Assessment Division at NSWC, Corona Division administers the Material Readiness Database, the Aligned Troubled Systems Process, and the Readiness Common Operating Picture to gauge the U.S. Navy’s warfighting capability with objective, unbiased assessment of performance, readiness, quality, supportability and the adequacy of training. These programs have established high-velocity learning environments and embraced advances in field of analytics to ensure greater situational awareness, increased efficiency and informed decision making.
