As many of you know, ASNE has been leading a STEM outreach program supported by ONR called FLEET (Future Leaders in Experience-based Engineering and Technology). FLEET is a video game that allows students to engineer ships, work directly with forces, and explore science concepts as they complete naval missions. We are in the midst of our last round of $1,000 grants available for STEM schools interested in using the FLEET video game.
Please help spread the word at your child's school or with educators you know. The grant application is online at http://www.fleetengineering.org, and click “2018-2019 Implementation Grant.”
At that same website you can download free STEM activities, readings about engineering, and download FLEET for free.
