ABSTRACTS DEADLINE EXTENDED TO: AUGUST 31, 2016


The 2016 ASNE Combat Systems Symposium (CSS) provides the naval engineering community, and specifically, the combat systems engineering community with expert panels, technical presentations, networking opportunities to keep abreast of the Navy’s progress and remaining challenges in developing more capable and more affordable combat systems for Navy ships.

The 2016 CSS Committee is seeking technical papers leading to ten minute presentations during the Symposium on any topics related to Combat Systems Engineering as follows, but not limited to:

  • Requirements Definition
  • System Design
  • Test and Evaluation
  • Sustainability
  • Maintainability
  • Reliability
  • Affordability
  • Future Capability
  • Modernization
  • Process Improvement

Submit a one page proposal as directed below prior to 31 August 2016. The proposal should include:
  • Proposed Title
  • Author (s)’ name (s) and organization (s)
  • Primary Point of Contact, mailing address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address
  • 1-2 page description which includes a problem statement or introduction, an outline of the key points to be made in the paper, and conclusions or recommendations that the paper will address
