PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY
All Combat Systems Symposium attendees MUST have or obtain access to the Washington Navy Yard

Registration will begin at 0730 on Tuesday, December 06 and will be held at the Washington Navy Yard Catering and Conference Center (WNY C&CC) (1411 Parsons Ave, Washington, DC 20003). The Naval Yard can be accessed by the 6th, 9th, O and N Street Gates. We recommend use of the O Street Gate (11th and O Streets) this is where the Security/Visitor Access Center is located and is closest to the WNY C&CC.

Base Access
Acceptable forms of identification for base access:

  • DoD Common Access Card,
  • U.S. active duty military I.D., or
  • U.S. retired military I.D.

If you do not have an I.D. listed above, you must apply for temporary base access. If you haven’t yet applied for temporary base access thru ASNE, and you don’t have access to the Navy Yard, you MUST apply for access on your own at the Security Gate at O and 11th. To expedite the process, we recommend you arrive on Monday, December 04 and apply for base access on your own. Tell them you are there to apply for temporary base access for the Combat Systems Symposium hosted by the American Society of Naval Engineers.

For further information on obtaining access to the Washington Navy Yard please review: http://www.cnic.navy.mil/regions/ndw/installations/nsa_washington/about/installation_guide/gate_access.html The base access form SECNAV Form 5512/1 can be downloaded from this page to facilitate quicker access, if doing onsite.
