Discussing Careers & Rules: Talk with an ONR Judge

Webinar Description

Date/Time: Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 1:00-2:00pm EST

PEP27 participants are invited to join a special webinar with Timothy Cullis of Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock (NSWC Carderock), an experienced naval engineer who has worked in electrical engineering, small-craft testing, signatures, and Navy test and evaluation. Tim will share his career path and experiences working on real-world Navy engineering challenges, discuss current career and internship opportunities, and answer your questions about what it is like to build a career in naval engineering. He will also take questions from PEP27 teams about the competition rules, giving you an opportunity to clarify requirements and make sure your team is designing and building with the competition expectations in mind. PEP is designed to connect students with the professional naval engineering community, and this is a great opportunity to meet an engineer who has helped shape the program while learning about where your PEP experience can take you next.
